I am Maria Quiquero, Artistic Crafts Person. My work is a small glimpse of the thoughts that brew inside my skull and flows through my hands.
The tools which I use to construct are my hands, the bristles of a brush, the point of a needle accompanied by thread, silk screen and dermal. I have incorporated painting, drawing and sculpture into the field of textiles. Nothing can stop me from executing any thought that brews. I work in a dark pallet with light colours as detailed contrast. The main pallet for my textiles is black, red and white, tis no sexier combination.
I refuse to limit myself to one material, I myself quite enjoy being versatile. I combine contrasting materials to make them one. My distinct style is full of details; it is just what I must do. I just can not ignore any surfaces, they must all be considered.
I am one who goes with the flow of a piece, where ever it may take me.
I have a background in the arts and added textiles. I design and print all my own fabric. It is just what I must do, it is just who I am, Maria Quiquero, Artistic Crafts person.

I am Justin Sherwood, Maria’s lover, assistant and sometimes muse. I’m also her web designer and father of her child. Together we keep one another functionally insane. Though I went to University for Computer science, I have had interest in the arts for quite some time and am currently looking to expand into graphic design. I am glad to help my baby out in any way she needs it. I hope you love her stuff as much as I do.
